Blog Design

I have had a lot of time these last few weeks to really think about things. So many days I have been so lost as to where God wants me right now and what I am supposed to be doing with my life. I worked so long and hard to get a degree I can't even seem to use and now it makes me want to say; why?

As I take a step back, I begin to see what a great oppurtunity God has really given me. While I wait for God to unfold the perfect plans I know He has in store, I am learning that I can try new things. I am helping out in my son's class at school, which I love. I know that one day I will be working and I can't get these moments to be with him back. I have also started to play around with a new project.

 I have always loved to design and scrapbook and my husband just so happens to be a genious at computers...no, really he is! So, this last weekend he sat and taught me everything I needed to know about photoshop. I was suprised at how much I loved it. So, together we are going to start designing blogs....I know, it sounds crazy, but I really enjoyed doing it and together we make a great team. We are working on getting a website up and going, but until that is ready I thought I would put the word out here.

My whole life I have dreamed of being a wife and mother. I have always felt so sorry for women who suffered with miscarriages or have lost a child. I never dreamed it would become my own reality... When my fourth child was stillborn, I became entangled in a web of darkness and sorrow so deep I was not sure I would ever be the same. I have been a Christian since I was seven, but it was not until my Bethany Hope died that God brought me to my knees and tested my faith like never before. This book entails some of the dark valleys and struggles I went through during the first year after Bethany died and how Christ never left my side and never will. I am truly learning that life is not about waiting for the storms to pass, but about learning to dance in the rain. When our life takes a wrong turn in our eyes, it might just be a right turn in the direction of Gods.

My Book

I can't even believe how God is working in my life. I started writing as a part of my healing, and God has allowed those writings to turn into a book. NEW FACEBOOK PAGE

 I am so excited about this! My friend Nicole and I have just launced a new facebook page. It is a page dedicated to anyone who has lost a child and is looking for prayer or help. Please use it to reach out for prayer request, to ask questions, or to just talk with others. We are really hoping to reach many parents and to show them that Christ is there ready and waiting to guide us through this journey of loss. NEW BLOG DESIGN

I finally have my new blog design all finished, allthough "I" did none of the work myself. My sweet husband is SO very talented and spent a long time making my header for me until it was just perfect, and I love it. Thank you Brad for your time and hard work. Share your story.... it is for anyone.  Post it on your blog as well if you don't mind, we are just trying to spread the word to give parents a place to chat with others about what they are feeling and what they are going through.
